2016 was a difficult year for Ilagan’s health. Although the second half the of the season he was able to come back into form little by little and saw him rise higher in the rankings. With his vigor, he was able to have alot of good results.
“As we get older, health issues can happen to anyone. Personally, it was a big change for me. On tournament days I know that my body condition might not be 100%, but my darts condition is beyond perfection 101%.
Absolute confidence is the strongest weapon.
Illagan is a person who feels he can’t lose to anyone. That is absolute confidence. No matter how far behind in a game, he is able to continue playing with composure.

“Being aware of who the major Soft Tip darts countries are, it would be special feeling for me to become SUPER DARTS 2017 champion. The past 2 times I have been here, the fact that I was not able to become champion is certain. I have to accept it. While being a popular player is a great title, having the title of Champion is the greatest title. I will obtain that title.”
