Living up to his nickname, “Legend”, Paul Lim shakes the soft tip darts world as one of the top players. He has recently took the title of Champion in THE WORLD 2016, proving that his skills as a top level player have not diminished in the slightest. Instead, his skill have become even more polished.
We cannot talk about soft tip darts without mentioning Paul Lim.
“Soft tip darts is a part of my life. There is not a single day that passes by without thinking about soft tip darts. I am very proud to be involved in other people’s lives through it.” There is probably no other person who loves the game of soft tip darts as much as he does. We believe that it is because of this love, he is able to remain at the top of the soft tip darts world. “Consistent playing, determination, and love of soft-tip darts. Along with these, I play each match as if my life depends on it.”
Even at the age of 65, he is eager to take on challenges.
As the defending champion of SUPER DARTS 2015, he will need to face players from all around the world.
“It was difficult to become the Champion but defending the title of Champion is an even more difficult task. It will be a great achievement to defend the title and become Champion once again. I am proud to be able to participate in this tournament as the defending Champion.”
Instead of feeling the pressure of defending the champion title, Paul Lim’s eyes sparkled with excitement and confidence to see what he will accomplish next.
“Two years have passed since winning the Championship. My age might have increased by two years but my wisdom has grown by two years as well. Since I am unable to pass on the Champion title, other players will have to play their best to try to win this title from me. However, I have trained hard to become even stronger and I can confidently say that I am currently in the best condition I have ever been.”
As we draw back the curtains on SUPER DARTS 2017, a new page shall be carved into the “Legend” of Paul Lim.
